The sports are an amusing way to stay healthy and fitness, it requires competition with oneself or with the other ones and to have a group of defined and specific rules .Is a good way to make exercise and get some fun too, people have a big variety of sports to practice such as: American Football, Tennis, Soccer , Swimming. But also, there are outstanding sports it is known as soccer and swimming. These can be too different and alike as well
One obvious difference is the field where people practice these sports. Soccer is played in a stadium and the players play with a ball also; the team is confirmed by eleven players. It is a sport played between two teams. In contrast, Swimming is practiced in a pool, the pool depends of the tournament, and it can be 50 m or 25 m.
Other areas of difference between Soccer and Swimming involve issues about competition that is, about tournaments, because Soccer has a lot of tournaments, it depends of the country or the continent for example, in South America there are different kinds of tournaments such as: Libertadores and Sudamericana Cup, in Europe there are another ones such as : Champions League, UEFA, SPL and the most important around the world known as World Cup is played every four years in different places in around the world. It join different countries and different cultures because is the most important tournament trough the history. In contrast, swimming spends less time in tournaments because this one depends of season, it has two major seasons. During the short course season, swimmers swim in 25 yard pools. This season lasts from September to the end of March. The long course season is swum in 50 meter Olympic pools and lasts from April to the end of August.
A final difference between these sports is the kind of clothing because in Soccer the players wear t-shirt, short and special shoes. And for Swimming everybody has to use swimsuit, swimming goggles and swimming cap. In many cases the type of clothing is useful when you practice special sports because it can help you to do it.
In spite of these differences, these two apparently opposite sports share some important contributions for the sports
Both, for example, the players should be in shape because they spend a lot of time play or something like that so the need to eat well. Both should have a good nutrition. It should be some portions of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals and workout. The best soccer player or swimmer should be able to do everything inside of him or her team
Important similarity is that both sports are played by females and males so it is interesting because everyone can play if they want.
Swimming and Soccer: different, yet alike. Although the two sports differ in many areas such as fields, tournaments, the way to wear, they share more than one common contribution for the sports
